Wow, first post I a while. Sorry I've been real busy, life after school is a complete 180. I've been working way to much to pay the bills, but I guess that's part of growing up. (damn responsibilities) I have had some freelance work and had been Fortunate enough to get into CMYK magazine. I've been determined to finish my seven deadly sins series and finish what I started. So here the latest two drawing for "Greed"' and "Envy"

THESIS

My thesis is based on the seven deadly sins. As you can see I only have four here, two others (envy and greed)didn't come out the way I wanted so I scraped them. I do plan on finishing the series though. What I wanted to do was, portray the sins as being very appealing,to show how easy they are to fall into but at the same time give my images some kind of creepiness to show their "deadly" side. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that I wanted my images to be beautiful but kind of dark at the same time. I'm happy with them and I have gotten a lot of positive feed back and I thank everyone for all the kind words, it means a lot.

These are two illustrations I did earlier this year. Ones is based on a short story of revenge, and the other is on my interpretation of Eve,, and her moment of choice. I'm not completely happy with the short story illustration, but I did learn a lot when doing it and I guess that all that matters. Its probably just my insecurities about my work just getting to me, but I hope you enjoy.

This semester has been busy, trying to keep up with classes. But I wanted to post some new stuff every week or two so here's some of my drawings from my sketchbook. I have kind of gotten away from my it this past semester,but after graduation I plan to live in it. So hope you like, and I'll post some more soon.

sorry I haven't posted in a while, end of the year is creeping up fast, and my thesis has been controlling my life. Here are the first four drawings for my thesis(seven deadly sins). I have been struggling with it. I was over thinking some stuff, and putting a lot of pressure on myself. I then got fustrated and it killed some of my motivation, but I think I have gotten back on track. These drawing are of sloth, anger, lust, and vanity

Here some old shit from figure class.... Damn I miss figure class. They range from 30 second to 2 minutes, 5-10 minutes, and last and probably least, two 20 minute gestures. Also since I have this figure theme goin on, I also posted an illustration I did last semester on "insecurities".Appreciate any feed back, always trying to improve - thanks.

This week's theme was dreams, and this topic let me just be very random and free. Because when I think of dreams they seem unrelated and obscure, and I just wanted to bring that to my illustration this topic gave me the excuse not to make any sense personally don't know if I like it, so let me know what you think.

This week topic was "Samurai", and when i thought about this Japanese warrior, I envisioned dragons,the interesting mask that they wore, and of course the Samurai sword. So I decided to do my illustration using these three elements. Hope you like :)

This was originally goin to be a self portrait, but I didn't want it to be just a painting of me, but more about me. At the time I was going through a lot of stuff in my life, so this paint is about the emotions and feeling I had at the time.
